EBO expands in the UK through the appointment of a Senior Healthcare Consultant

Neil Taylor may be new to EBO, but he is certainly not a newcomer to healthcare. He worked in the sector for close to 25 years across every aspect of care provision and commissioning, including acute, community, mental health and social care, delivering extensive, quantifiable and sustainable improvements in the cost, quality and performance of patient care.

He is also a Master Productivity Specialist with the Association of Productivity Specialists (APS). Before joining EBO, he worked for Meridian Productivity Limited, a firm of productivity specialists working primarily with healthcare and public sector clients in the UK and Ireland.

Neil works closely with healthcare providers and empowers them to embrace digitally-enabled care. Indeed, virtually every aspect of modern life has been radically reshaped by innovation and technology – and healthcare is no exception. Sustained advances brought about by EBO’s technology is driving choice and control and opening up new possibilities for care and treatment.

Neil brings a long history of successes in the improvement of theatre utilisation and throughput, capacity planning and improved waiting times for outpatients, as well as clinical productivity and reporting for imaging. He has also tackled the reduction of lengths of stay, better bed management and improved access to services, all of which have reduced costs for community, mental health and social care services.

The experiences that he has accrued while working in the healthcare sector have imbued Neil with a deep understanding of the needs of those delivering and managing care services.

As EBO’s Senior Healthcare Consultant, he will be working alongside Healthcare Director Paul Boland, who joined the company’s UK branch in August 2021.

“I am really excited about working together with the EBO team to support patient self-management. It is great to be part of a truly innovative AI solution which will contribute to the transformation of UK healthcare, and improve patient and staff experience and wellbeing.”

EBO delivers meaningful outcomes by helping businesses automate repetitive processes. EBO’s highly customisable Healthcare Virtual Assistants enable hospital staff to focus on solving more significant, complex issues.
