Christine Swain: A Former NHS and Cerner Consultant Joins EBO’s UK Healthcare Team

The rapidly changing digital landscape and the influx of innovations have created a large opportunity for EBO’s growth in the digital healthcare space. A former NHS Deputy Divisional General Manager, Christine Swain, has joined EBO’s UK healthcare team as Senior Consultant.

With her experience working within the UK’s public health service in roles relating to clinical, operational and digital transformation spanning over 15 years, Ms Swain adds value to the EBO team, working hand in hand with new and existing clients helping them transform business processes, culture, and customer experiences to meet changing patient requirements.

Before joining EBO, Ms Swain worked for the global health information giant Cerner Corporation, where she continued to cultivate her passion for high-quality patient care and client success. She also has a clinical background in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy.

Ms Swain said that she is delighted to be joining the EBO team at such an essential time of growth: “Efficient administrative and booking processes are key for public health services to provide a positive care experience. Many booking teams deal with very high workloads, while suboptimal clinic utilisation can result in loss of income and waste clinical resources for hospitals” Ms Swain said. “This is where the EBO Virtual Asisstant can bring huge value to patients and healthcare operators alike. I am excited to be a part of the team that delivers this value for our clients.”

Commenting on Christine’s appointment, Dr. Gege Gatt, CEO of EBO stated: “We want to be Europe’s leader in person-centred healthcare, powered by AI. It is critical for us to collaborate with the smartest people around and Christine is a key asset in EBO’s growth. She understands the forces that shape and impact the way people relate to healthcare providers and access healthcare services”.

EBO delivers meaningful outcomes by helping businesses automate repetitive processes. It creates highly customisable Virtual Assistants that offer their customers a service so seamless that they are indistinguishable from the experience of interacting with their human resources.
